1. Who we are
The Humanizer (the "Service", available at thehumanizer.app) is operated by SUNNYISH LLC, a company organized in the United States ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Questions can be sent to support@thehumanizer.app.
2. Accounts
Some features can be used without an account. To buy a plan you need to create an account with a valid email address and a password. You agree to give accurate information, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, resold or transferred.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Plans and prices. Current plans, prices and word quotas are listed on our pricing page. Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes unless stated.
- Quotas. Each plan includes a monthly word allowance and a per-run word limit. Words are counted from the input text on each successful run. Unused words do not roll over to the next billing period. Free use is subject to daily limits.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. You authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time by emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access to your plan until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number. Your use of Stripe is also subject to its own terms.
- Price changes. If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you in advance, and the new price will apply from your next renewal. You can cancel before then if you do not accept it.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You are solely responsible for the text you submit and for how you use the output. This includes complying with the rules of your school, employer, publisher, client or any platform where you use the text, such as academic-integrity, authorship and disclosure policies. We do not monitor how output is used and accept no responsibility for any consequence of using it.
You agree not to:
- submit or generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that infringes the rights of others;
- use the Service for fraud, spam, impersonation, misinformation campaigns or any other harmful purpose;
- access the Service through bots, scripts or automated scraping, or send requests at a rate that burdens our systems;
- get around usage limits, for example by creating multiple accounts or rotating IP addresses;
- attempt to reverse engineer, copy, resell or interfere with the Service or its security.
5. No guarantee of detector results
AI detectors are run by independent third parties. They change often, disagree with each other and produce false positives. We are not affiliated with any of them. While the Service is designed to produce natural, human-sounding writing, we do not guarantee that any text will receive any particular score or result from any detector, now or in the future. AI-likelihood scores shown within the Service are estimates for your information only.
6. Intellectual property
You keep all rights to the text you submit, and you own the output produced from it, to the extent permitted by law. We claim no ownership of your input or output. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process your text in order to provide the Service to you.
The Service itself, including its software, design, name and logo, belongs to SUNNYISH LLC and is protected by law. These Terms do not give you any right to use our trademarks.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the output will be accurate or suitable for your purpose. You should review all output before using it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SUNNYISH LLC and its members, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, reputation, grades, employment or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 50 US dollars if you have not paid us anything. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access, without refund, if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal risk or harm to others, or if we are required to by law. We may also discontinue the Service with reasonable notice, in which case we will refund any prepaid period you have not used. Sections 4 through 10 continue to apply after termination.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email or on the site. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@thehumanizer.app.
